One question, answered properly.
Is the thing in front of you worth buying? That is all SNDDeals does. This page explains how, what it costs, and the cases where you would genuinely be better off with something else.
The problem it solves
You find something reduced. To know whether it is worth buying you need what it actually sold for on eBay, not what people are asking. Then you need to subtract fees and postage. Done properly that is a couple of minutes per item: open eBay, search, filter to sold listings, scroll, work out the fees, decide.
Do that thirty times in a sourcing session and it is an hour of admin. Do it badly, or skip it, and you buy things that lose money. Most resellers end up guessing, and guessing is where margins go.
What SNDDeals actually does
It puts a button on the product page you are already looking at. Press it and you get real completed eBay UK sold listings for that exact item, with your profit after fees and postage worked out. Roughly two seconds instead of two minutes.
- Works on 17 UK retail sites, including Vinted
- Completed sold listings only, never asking prices
- New and used kept separate, never blended into one average
- Says "no match" rather than widening the search until something appears
- Applies your actual fee position, private or business
How it compares
There are good tools in this space and some of them do far more than SNDDeals. The honest comparison is not "better", it is "different job".
| Tool | Typical price | Free tier | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| SNDDeals | Free, or £6.99/mo | 15 checks daily, no card, no expiry | Checking whether a specific item is worth buying, on the page |
| Full eBay research platforms | Around £30–£70/mo | Usually none, or a paid trial | Deep market research, competitor tracking, listing optimisation |
| Deal alert communities | Subscription, card usually required upfront | Trial, card required | Being told about restocks and drops in real time |
| Single-platform checkers | Around £20/mo | Varies | Resale values on one marketplace only |
Prices are indicative and checked in August 2026. This market changes pricing often, so treat these as a rough guide and check current rates directly rather than relying on this table.
Where SNDDeals genuinely wins
- Cost. £6.99 a month against £30 to £70 for the research platforms. One flip you would otherwise have missed covers a year.
- A free tier that is actually free. 15 checks a day, no card, no countdown. Several competitors require card details before you can try anything.
- It comes to you. Research platforms are somewhere you go. SNDDeals appears on the page you were already on, which is the difference between checking everything and checking the ones you remember to.
- It is built for UK sellers specifically. UK retailers, eBay UK sold data, and current UK fee rules, including the fact that private sellers pay nothing.
Where it does not
If you want to research a whole category before deciding what to sell, track what competitors are listing, optimise titles, or find suppliers, SNDDeals does none of that and a proper research platform is worth the money. It answers one question about one item.
It is also desktop only. Chrome does not support extensions on phones, so if you source mainly on mobile it will not help while you are out. The calculators on this site work anywhere, but they are not the same thing.
And it is new. Fewer users than the established tools, which means a thinner community feed than it will have later. If you want a large active community today, the alert groups have that and we do not yet.
The accuracy thing
This matters more than it sounds. A large share of eBay fee guidance online is out of date: it still says UK private sellers pay 12.8%, a figure that stopped being true in October 2024. Several fee calculators still apply it.
If a tool deducts 12.8% that you do not actually pay, it tells you a profitable flip is not worth doing. You never find out, because the cost of that error is invisible: you simply walk away from things you should have bought. We wrote about why that error is so persistent, and our fee calculator asks your seller type before it calculates anything.
What it costs
Free covers 15 checks a day, resetting at midnight, with no card and no expiry. That is a normal sourcing session and most people never need more. Pro is £6.99 a month for unlimited checks plus the dashboard, watchlists, retailer trends and daily alerts. Cancel whenever, no minimum term. Full detail on the pricing page.
Worth trying if
You buy things to resell on eBay UK, you source from UK retailers on a desktop, and you would rather know your margin than guess at it. It is free to find out, and it takes about a minute.
